Astaxanthin is red. Your stool may appear red or orange after taking; this is normal. It may stain hand or clothing. It will wash off skin with soap and water.

Do not expose to excessive heat. Keep out of reach of children or pets. The chocolate may appear discolored red or chalky in appearance. This is caused by a "chocolate bloom". This does not alter the potency of the product.

Before Ordering Chocolate: Please know that…

Due to extreme temperatures during summer months, shipping methods will change for chocolate orders only beginning April 15 continuing until November 15, when they will return to winter shipping. This change will affect only the orders containing chocolate.

1. Chocolate orders will only be shipped in insulated boxes with ice packs.

2. All shipping will be UPS overnight with signature required.

3. Insurance will be required to guarantee product.

4. Shipping chocolate will be Monday – Wednesday only.

Chocolate Returns

HOT WEATHER SHIPPING NOTICE for April – November: Due to real chocolate’s propensity to melt in hot weather, shipping chocolates during the warmer times of year does include some risks. We do everything we can to help ensure the products arrive in good conditions, however due to circumstances outside of our control, our chocolate products are not eligible for refunds.

We are not responsible for melted chocolate. We recommend NOT ordering heat sensitive chocolate products during hot months. Our ValAsta Oils are recommended during this time.

ValAsta Astaxaanthin is amazing!

ValAsta Astaxaanthin is amazing. I don't miss a morning with, (as my husband calls it) our Chocolate Seaweed. My husband and I both have had Cancer over 10 years ago (Bladder cancer & Stomach cancer). ValAsta gives us a comfort blanket that we are doing all we can to not have Cancer re-occur.

I just cannot do the taste with the chocolate does not cover up the taste enough for me.

Taste preferences can vary a lot, and it’s completely understandable if the flavor isn’t quite right for you. If you're open to trying other options, there are alternative ways to mask the taste. completely melted

I have ordered food products during summer months before and there was much better packaging (including chemical ice blocks) that delivered frozen foods. Something like that should be used (in a box) rather than the simple bag and cold pouch that were sent with the chocolates I was sent (especially considering how expensive the products are).
